The Warrior Group Revealed
The latest chapter concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of characters who will split off from the main group to undertake their independent quest, distinct from the other two tables.
This warrior group consists of Teor (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).
Dividing the Cast
With an extensive roster, it was obvious from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be unfeasible.
That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before branching into three separate parties: Fighters, Strategists, and Explorers.
What Defines the Combat Party
Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a classically intense combat and conflict-driven narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.
At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might look out of place, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the combat party.
Reasons to Leave
For one thing, the group understands precisely where to head next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.
A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the story’s plot—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to sell off.
The traitor then paid off his liabilities and escaped to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.
Personal Motivations
Additionally, each adventurer has a individual motive to depart Dol-Makjar:
- The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, seeks vengeance.
- Kattigan knows the northern area and warns that it is a hostile location.
- The strong character and The cleric, having resisted his relatives’ demands to execute Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
- But, their status as important members in House Halovar could assist the party enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Additionally, Teor pledged a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.
Fugitives
In addition, all of them are sought by the powers that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:
