The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
