Assassin's Creed Introduces Surprising Attack on Titan Crossover for Holiday Season
In a surprising crossover event that breaks conventional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Uncovered
According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of banned ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine group.
The mission concentrates on "peculiar trials and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Additional Content
Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an special katana together with multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
